Curved braces with stop chamfered softwood posts mounted on staddle stones support the 1.8m wide overhang, and are fixed with pegged mortise & tenon joints. Oak posts are an optional extra. The traditional rafter roof is left unlined at the overhang (as standard) which removes the problem of dust accumulation and provides a light airy environment with maximum ventilation for respiratory health.
Each loosebox is supplied fully lined to eaves level and fitted with Eventer range doors and windows, and all the usual extras are available to customise your building.
The Classic Range can be supplied with matching garaging and outbuildings to create a very attractive range of buildings. Grey bituminous roofing shingles are supplied as standard, but a range of roofing materials is available, and the building can be supplied ready to receive tiles of your choice to match your property.
Originally developed to counteract the negative responses from the planning authorities for the erection of buildings on sensitive sites, this design was generally considered more sympathetic to period properties, but it has proved to be very popular with clients regardless of planning issues. Loosely based on the mediaeval oak timber frames of a bygone era, this building is supplied as standard in pressure impregnated softwood with a 15 year guarantee.
